Super Dancer 2 Postponed Because Of RK Studios Fire?

The RK Studios' fire was a tragic and unfortunate incident that has rocked the entire film industry thid afternoon. The most hurt, however, are the makers of Super Dancer 2, whose sets were completely damaged in the fire. Now rumours have it that the show, which was all set to start in the coming 15 days, might get postponed.

A source close to Super Dancer 2 informed, “The show was set to launch in 15 days and everything was ready. But the set has been damaged entirely because of the fire and we’re not sure if a new set can be made in such a short time. The makers are planning to postpone the show because of the incident. They are trying to figure out a replacement for the Super Dancer 2 slot till the set is redone and suitable for shoots.”

It is definitely sad news for the fans of the popular dance reality show who were waiting impatiently for its new season. Now, they might have to wait for a few more weeks.

The RK Studios, owned by the Kapoors, has been one of the most iconic film studios in Bollywood since the time it was established by Raj Kapoor. His youngest son, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to express his gratitude and concern over the fire incident. His tweet read, "Sad A major fire broke out at RK Studios. We have lost the iconic Stage 1. Thankfully no casualties nor injuries. All your concerns appreciated."

According to initial reports, the fire was said to be confined to the electric wiring, electric installations, and decoration equipment in 100x80 sq ft area on the ground floor of the structure. After an initial assessment, the fire brigade called it in as a level 2 fire. Post that, two small hose lines of six fire engines were working their level best to douse the fire. According to reports, five water tankers and twelve ambulances were also pressed into service to lend their services.

Coming back to Super Dancer 2, we hope that the makers of the show, along with some help from the Kapoors, are able to bring on the news season of the show on air ASAP.
